A Complete New-Opening Program for a 394-Room Waterfront Hotel

Bed Linen Bath Linen Amenities
HOTELIER delivered a complete guest-room program for the new opening of a 394-room waterfront hotel in Northern Europe. The project required precise coordination across 282 King rooms and 112 Twin rooms, with every product prepared for the correct room configuration.
To meet Nordic preferences for bedding with a fuller, more substantial hand feel, we supplied 80s × 80s, 400TC bed linen with a double-ply treatment. Duvet covers included two hand holes to make daily changing easier for housekeeping teams. The program also included 600 GSM towels, 220 GSM white duck-down duvets, 100% cotton low-twist terry robes, 7 mm sole cut-pile slippers, customized sandalwood liquid amenities and EU-compliant kettles. All core textile products were supplied with OEKO-TEX certification, helping the hotel open with a consistent, comfortable and complete guest experience.
Project Background
This project supported the opening of a 394-room waterfront hotel serving international business and leisure guests. With a large room inventory, multiple product categories and two different bed configurations, the hotel needed every guest room to be ready from the first day of operation.
The room program had to reflect a clean, modern and quietly premium Nordic style. Beyond bedding, each room required coordinated bath textiles, sleep products, robes, slippers, liquid amenities and electrical items. The priority was to create a consistent guest experience while making the setup practical for hotel operations and housekeeping.
Challenge
The main challenge was managing a complete opening program across 394 rooms without configuration errors. All products had to be allocated correctly between 282 King rooms and 112 Twin rooms, while maintaining the same standard of comfort and presentation throughout the hotel.
The Nordic market also has clear expectations for bedding: guests prefer linen that feels thicker, fuller and more comfortable to the touch. The hotel therefore needed a fabric program that could provide an elevated hand feel while remaining suitable for daily hotel use. Housekeeping efficiency was another key consideration, especially for duvet-cover changing.
Our Solution
  • Supplied 80s × 80s, 400TC bed linen with a double-ply treatment for a fuller, more substantial feel.
  • Added two hand holes on each duvet cover to support quicker and easier changing by housekeeping teams.
  • Prepared linen according to the exact bed configuration: 282 King rooms and 112 Twin rooms.
  • Provided 600 GSM towels for a plush and premium bath experience.
  • Supplied 220 GSM white duck-down duvets for comfortable sleep performance.
  • Added 100% cotton low-twist terry robes and 7 mm sole cut-pile slippers.

From the first day of opening, the hotel had a consistent product standard across bed linen, bath linen, duvets, robes, slippers, amenities and in-room equipment—helping create a polished and complete guest experience.
